Careers · Join the founding team

Build a quaternary hospital from the first principle up.

KSSH is building the founding team for a 700-bed greenfield hospital in Coimbatore, from senior clinical and executive leaders to doctors, nurses, technicians, engineers and support staff. This is the rare chance to shape systems, culture and standards before a single ward opens — not inherit them.

Render of a planted concourse in warm light: hanging greenery above the pharmacy, a sculpture of horses, and people waiting and walking while a doctor talks with a visitor.

Why join KSSH

Founding, not filling

Senior appointments will help define clinical protocols, service lines and the Centres of Excellence — shaping the institution rather than joining a finished one.

Centres of Excellence, by design

The clinical brief is being built around planned Centres of Excellence in cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, gastro, orthopaedic and mother-and-child care, supported by high-acuity critical care and emergency medicine.

A regional referral centre

Set within a catchment of 22 to 25 million people across western Tamil Nadu and Kerala, KSSH is planned as a quaternary referral centre: the level of care that today sends families to Chennai, Bengaluru or beyond.

A greenfield canvas

Purpose-built infrastructure designed around the specialty, with clinical, digital and environmental systems planned together from the start.

Backed by legacy

A new super-speciality campus in Ganapathy, to function in addition to Kongunad Hospital in Tatabad, built on the reputation Kongunad Hospitals has earned in Coimbatore for quality healthcare at an affordable cost.

A workplace built for wellbeing

The same biophilic thinking applied to patient areas is being designed into staff spaces — daylight, planting and calm as part of the working day.

A glimpse inside

Where you will work

The full design stays under wraps for now. These details offer a glimpse of spaces being built around daylight, planting and calm — for patients, and for the teams who care for them.

  • Render detail looking up through a planted atrium, with green walls and hanging plants around a daylit opening. Daylight and greenery
  • Render detail of a bay in the planned emergency department: a bed and wall-mounted monitor behind sheer curtains, beside a curved wood-panelled wall with a softly lit edge and a potted plant. Emergency
  • Render detail of a critical care bay: a bed beneath ceiling-mounted equipment arms, framed by curtains. Critical care
  • Render detail of a calm neonatal care area: a curved nurse’s desk with a computer, in front of a crib and curtained bays beneath high windows. Neonatal care
  • Render detail of a sculptural column with trailing plants above a softly lit nurse station in the planned paediatric intensive care unit. Paediatric care
  • Render detail of a planted walkway: people stroll and rest on benches set among greenery, beneath hanging plants and green walls. Places to pause

Details from architectural renders; final designs may vary. Full design walkthroughs are shared in conversation with shortlisted candidates.
